This method returns the 3DS Method URL (”threeDSecureMethodURL”) and 3DS Method Data (”threeDSecureMethodData”) for submitting a device fingerprinting HTTP POST to the card issuer’s Access Control Server (ACS). It also verifies the applicability of 3DS on the card and returns the 3DS version supported by the card.

This method is an optional component of 3D Secure used prior to POST Create Authentication for browser-based transactions. Implementing this method may increase the chance of a ‘frictionless’ flow for your customers where they are authenticated by their issuing bank without need for a challenge prompt.
