Introduction and Getting Started
KONEK is Interac’s new digital payment wallet designed to give merchants a more flexible, secure, and modern way to accept online payments. For merchants, KONEK introduces Pay By Bank, a fast and secure checkout option that lets customers complete purchases using their bank login instead of entering card details. This creates a smoother checkout experience and reduces the friction that can lead to cart abandonment.
KONEK supports two payment methods:
Account-Based Payments (Pay By Bank): Customers can pay directly from their bank account using the credentials they already trust.
Card-Based Payments: KONEK also supports debit and credit card transactions.
